Here is an opportunity to discuss the research and practical implementation of standards-based teaching and learning (and assessment and grading) in a music classroom with an experienced music educator. Each day there will be collaborative work time so you can take away tools you've customized for your classroom.

June 18: Focus on the philosophy of standards-based teaching and learning; Quality performance assessments and assessment practices; Quality assessments of musical knowledge

June 19: Focus on measuring student growth with standards-based assessments
