MN Relicensure Day! Adaptation of Curriculum & Instruction - Maple Grove, MN

Is your Minnesota teaching license coming up for renewal? This two-hour session focuses on accommodation, modification, and adaptation of curriculum, materials, and instruction, and understanding how to use differentiation strategies to help all students learn more. Most examples will come from K-12 music classrooms, but all educators are welcome. Bring a colleague!

This is one of five mini-workshops today, each focused on one relicensure area. More than that, the sessions provide important considerations and strategies that all teachers can use to create a safe and productive learning environment. Separate registration and $40 fee is required for each session.

• 8:00-10:00 - Positive behavioral intervention strategies
• 10:15-12:15 - Key warning signs for early-onset mental illness in children and adolescents
• 1:00-3:00 - Meeting the varied needs of English Language Learners
• 3:15-5:15 - Accommodation, modification, and adaptation of curriculum, materials, and instruction
• 6:30-8:30 - Reading preparation

$40 registration per session ($30 early bird through Dec 31) includes materials and beverages/snacks. Please note that the hotel does not permit outside food or beverages in the meeting room.
