Teaching Through the Standards in your Music Room - Rapid City, SD

This is a 2-day workshop: July 31 - August 1.

Join other K-12 music educators and Wendy Barden to learn and think collaboratively!

• Explore the new National Core Arts Standards in music in conjunction with South Dakota [or your] state music standards
• Collaborate on meaningful, realistic ways to implement the music standards
• Connect music standards to the English Language Arts Common Core
• Teach through all the standards… and still keep the focus on making music.

$245 registration fee includes all materials plus morning and afternoon snacks.

One graduate-level professional development credit is available from the University of North Dakota (letter grade) for successful completion of the course. The additional cost for the credit is $50, payable to the University of North Dakota. All work required for credit will be completed during the course.
