New! Music Assessment Institute - Eau Claire, WI

This is a two-day institute taking place June 13 and 14 (8:30 am - 5:00 pm).

Learn-think-collaborate in this two-day institute! Assessment is gathering evidence of achievement both to help students learn more, and to document what they have already achieved. Learn more about performance and other assessments in the music room. With assessments and samples of student work in hand, we'll also think about what to do with the data! Collaborate like a PLC with your team or others who teach the same grades/classes to revise assessments and dig deep into the data that's available in our music classrooms. All of this with differentiated and music-experienced support so you leave with practical tools and ideas.

Registration includes materials and morning/afternoon snacks. One hour is planned for lunch on your own.

We anticipate one graduate credit will be available from Viterbo (additional cost of $220). Stay tuned for confirmation of this. Also, one graduate-level professional development credit is available from University of North Dakota (letter grade) for successful completion of the Music Assessment Institute (additional cost of $50).
